Location: Flexible working with Barrow-in-Furness, Kendal or Penrith as a base
Contract: Fixed Term 12 months
About this opportunity
Westmorland and Furness have identified Climate Change and Biodiversity as key priorities for the council and are seeking a highly organised, motivated and dedicated Senior Advisor with excellent knowledge on Green Finance and Circular Economy, who can assist to tackle non-technical barriers to financing net-zero interventions and to embed circular economy principles into the council policy and operations.
