Job title: Senior / Principal Sustainability Consultant

Summary:

Our client is a long standing, award-winning consultancy specialising in environmental and mechanical engineering for the built environment. They require a highly motivated senior or principal sustainability consultant to join their London sustainability team.

Work will typically involve providing diverse sustainability services for a range of project scales and types, within sectors including residential, commercial, education and also Masterplans.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Able to conduct BREEAM, LEED and/or Code for Sustainable Homes assessments on a wide range of developments

• Preparation of Energy/Sustainability strategies for planning applications

• Day to day liaison with clients, and management of the relationship throughout project’s course

• Coordinateing project teams and provide technical and mentoring support to junior staff

 

Qualifications / Experience:

• Relevant Degrees in Engineering, Architecture or Science

• Working towards Chartered status

• Considerable consultancy experience

• Project management of BREEAM, LEED or CfSH assessment

• Preparation of Energy/Sustainability strategies for planning

• Client facing skills and experience of leading projects

• Excellent report writing skills and experience of presenting work to clients and project teams.
