In the Ocean Forecasting R&D group, as part of the National Centre for Ocean Forecasting, we develop and implement ocean circulation forecast models. Working at the forefront of international science, you will be involved in development and assessment of data assimilation techniques in world-leading ocean models. You will also contribute to deliver products and services to customers.
To join us, you will need a 2:1 degree in Maths, Physics, Oceanography, Meteorology or related subject, plus some knowledge of programming in Fortran or Unix. But above all, you will be enquiring, imaginative and creative in your approach to solving problems on a global scale.
