Renewable Energy Assurance Ltd. (REAL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Renewable Energy Association (REA). The REA is the principal trade association for the renewable energy industry. REAL now has a vacancy for a scheme administrator to join our friendly, hard-working team. We are looking for a well-organised, motivated and creative person with an interest in environmental issues. The successful candidate will assist us with the running of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code which ensures high standards for domestic consumers looking to install micro generation systems in their own homes. The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience with administration. As part of this, we are looking for someone with experience of IT applications including Microsoft Office software, databases and web tools. We are also looking for someone who has good communication and telephone skills, and some knowledge of finance and accounts. Knowledge of small-scale renewables would be desirable. Our office is in central London, convenient for transport links. We offer a package that includes a salary of £18,000 per annum, a 37.5 hour working week, 25 days holiday per annum (pro-rated) plus statutory days, and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to increasing the share of renewables in the generation mix.
