Description

In 2010 the Government successfully introduced the Feed in Tariff (FITS) for electricity generated from renewable sources and the market for Solar PV has boomed. This year they will be launching a similar scheme for HEAT generated from renewables; the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). Final details about the scheme – originally expected in December – could come anytime soon, with a start date of July 2011 for non-domestic installations, RHI payments for households are expected to start in Autumn 2012.

It is proposed that this will support technologies such as air, water and ground-source heat pumps, geothermal energy, solar thermal, biomass boilers and renewable combined heat and power and biogas.

This practical workshop, presented by the National Energy Foundation, one of the groups working with Government on this issue, will cover;

  • what this means to those working in the construction sector
  • an overview of the technologies
  • finding the sales opportunities
  • making sure that you can advise customers on the details behind the ‘money making’ headlines

Cost: £245 + VAT. 10% discount for bookings completed online at least 4 weeks prior.
