We’re recruiting a Retail Team Leader to manage all aspects of stock, sales and buying, teams’ sales and customer service across our fishing retail outlets based at Rutland, Grafham and Pitsford Waters.
What you will do:
Primarily based at Rutland Water, you’ll manage the team, providing initiatives to increase the profitability, as well as using social media and other promotional methods to raise the profile of our outlets. Alongside serving customers, you’ll ensure that stock is correctly priced and entered onto our EPOS. You will prepare rotas and manage staffing for a 7 day operation, including setting objectives and developing the team. You will ensure stock management process are followed and undertake full stock counts and follow procurement policies whilst maintaining retail margins when purchasing stock. Using your existing experience, you will ensure that the cash management is secure, auditable and that the end of day reconciliations are accurate.
We are looking for someone who is:

• An appreciation of what great customer service is and how to maximise retail sales
• People management abilities
• Motivated, with experience of managing a profitable retail outlet
• Excellent communication skills, able to identify customers’ needs.
• A good understanding of social media, EPOS, merchandising and cash management processes is required.
• The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in angling and trout fishing
