Right now, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Climate Change and Resource Efficiency team in our Sydney office.
 
The focus of the role will be to deliver resource efficiency and related services to clients from industry, government and commercial sectors. There will be the opportunity to provide additional services that include, but are not limited to, cleaner production, process integration and process optimization advice; resource efficiency audits (energy, water, waste) and greenhouse gas emission reduction and carbon accounting solutions. The role may also involve sustainable infrastructure design and operation; and environmental approvals, focussing on resource efficiency and sustainability issues. Experience with NGERS, EEO, ESAP, WSAP or sustainability advantage programs is desirable.
 
The ideal candidate will possess formal tertiary qualifications in chemical/process, mechanical or environmental engineering, have at least 5+ years of relevant work experience and be looking for an opportunity to grow their career. He or she will be able to demonstrate initiative, appropriate technical knowledge and experience; project management capability; excellent report writing and oral communication skills; business development/client relationship management skills and an understanding of current regulations and policies that are driving resource efficiency strategies.  A well developed mathematical proficiency and skills with relevant programs would be highly regarded.
Effectively liaising with internal and external clients to our market services and successfully managing leading-edge projects of various sizes are key requirements of the role.
