We are seeking a researcher to join the Climate Change, Environment and Forests (CCEF) programme who will contribute to the development and delivery of a portfolio of research, policy advice and public affairs on climate finance. ODI has a strong performance on climate finance, having built up a body of work on this theme over the past two years with an established group of six researchers working at both contributor and recipient-country level.

About you
With a background in development practice and public-finance management, the researcher will bring an understanding of country-level issues in strengthening government planning, budgeting and financial management processes.
The successful candidate will also have:
a degree and post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline
active knowledge of the international climate-change debate
experience in producing research outputs
strong presentation and networking skills
excellent analytical, writing skills
strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate successfully and cultural awareness
multi-tasking skills
the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative and under minimal supervision.
