SEI Oxford is looking for an early- to mid-career researcher to join our team. The researcher would contribute to SEI’s work on emerging topics in climate policy, focusing on, among others, the interface of climate change and international trade, and the governance of fossil fuel subsidies and their reform. This work would take place in the context of SEI’s Initiative on Fossil Fuels and Climate Change. Other topics that the candidate may be expected to work on relate to the ongoing negotiations on implementing the Paris Agreement, climate finance and carbon pricing, and EU climate and energy policy. The candidate is expected to be capable of working both independently and in a team in a highly flexible and exciting global research environment. Primary responsibilities
