Research Assistant Internship

Mountain View Conservation Centre, in Fort Langley, BC, is currently looking to fill a position as a Research Assistant Intern. This position involves analyzing years of data collected from our endangered species programs; comparing results, drawing conclusions and writing papers. Projects directed towards visitor education or expansion and development may also be included.

This is a 3 month minimum, 4 days per week commitment. Most of the work will be done in an office, with some data analyses required at various sites on the property. While there is no direct animal involvement, the information this intern will be privy to is very interesting and, in some cases, ground breaking conservation data. This is an unpaid position that would result in a reference letter and completion certificate awarded at the end of the term. 

Applicants should be University students or graduates of a related field, such as Biology, Zoology, Animal Sciences, Wildlife Conservation, Environmental Sciences, etc. and have a strong desire to attain a career in the conservation field.
