We need volunteers to help with the reforestation efforts in Costa Rica. Volunteers will work with both the Ministry of environment and local communities. Volunteers on this project should have a passion for the environment and enjoy physical labor and being outdoors! Volunteering duties may include: filling bags with earth and plant seedlings, finding new seeds in the forests to plant new seedlings, working in a recycling center, using recycled material to create activities and educational events for kids, and helping to plant trees in local gardens and farms. You don’t need a degree or any previous experience for this project. You should be 18 years of age or older and speak Spanish on a basic to intermediate level.
