Groundwork North East has a number of new vacancies in our growing Employment and Skills Team. We aim to get 1000 more people into work over the next 12 months, and 5,000 over the next 5 years.

The Postholder will work as a member of the Employment & Skills Team and will be responsible for attracting jobseekers and matching them to temporary or permanent positions with suitable employers with the aim of moving individuals into sustainable employment. Recruiters work with local, regional and national employers, building relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements.  Attracting jobseekers by advertising, networking and through referrals, they pre-screen candidates, interview and finally match candidates to their employers.  Working in a busy team environment you will ensure employment programme performance targets are consistently achieved to meet the requirements of the allocated contract.
