The Reception team is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible person to join the team based in the Foundation building.  We run a busy reception, call centre and box office and duties covered include reception meet and greet, taking business and information calls, box office phone bookings using a web based system, recruitment calls, dealing with the post, room diary bookings, issuing of stationery items as required and various administration tasks.  

A high standard of IT skills and knowledge are essential for the role as well as excellent customer service skills, a good telephone manner, a friendly and polite disposition.  A flexible approach to working hours and the ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual are all desirable qualities.  You will also need to be able to keep a level head under pressure at busy times and have a good eye for detail.

The role involves weekend work and some evenings as required and is a 20 hour contract on an annualised hour basis.
