Project Managers for Development, Test and Demonstration of New Wind Power Plants

Join us as soon as possible and become one of the new project managers in our department Demonstration and Test Programme.

The department is part of Renewables, a large and rapidly growing business unit with 930 employees. You will be joining one of the leading energy companies in Europe within the fields of developing, constructing and operating offshore wind farms. We have more than 30 years of experience in wind power, and up to 20 per cent of our power is produced from renewable resources.

You will be joining a demonstration programme focusing on wind power. We solve tasks together with our colleagues across a large organisation. Furthermore, we cooperate closely with national and international suppliers of wind turbines, foundations and other wind power technology.

The demonstration programme focuses on testing, demonstrating and maturing new offshore technologies, utilising state-of-the-art technology within wind turbines, foundation concepts, cables and installation methods. Consequently, we will get an insight into the technical and operational qualities of the new products and the potential for improvement. We will use our observations and results to optimise the technology in the further development of our future offshore wind farms.

You will be based either at our office in Gentofte or at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia. You may choose freely between the two options.

Areas of responsibility
You will get a challenging job as a project manager, where you will be responsible for developing, managing and coordinating the demonstration activities in our demonstration projects. You will ensure follow-up on the activities and that we make a thorough analysis and evaluation of our projects, especially in terms of development, test and measuring programs.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for documenting, communicating and using the results from our demonstration projects.

Besides, your primary duties are to plan, develop, analyse, test and demonstrate the latest wind power technology in cooperation with experts from other departments and external partners.

In connection with our demonstration projects, you will participate in the overall coordination with the project's suppliers and other partners.

Your profile
You will hold an education as an engineer and be interested in development-based tasks. Furthermore, you will have experience with project management and be accustomed to working with technology-oriented projects.

It would be an advantage if you have good knowledge of the wind power sector.

It is essential that you have good communication skills and know how to compellingly communicate news and results to your colleagues in the organisation.

As we are an international company and cooperate closely with our colleagues abroad, you must have excellent communication skills and speak and write Danish and English fluently.

It is also essential that you have a systematic approach to your work and can handle several tasks simultaneously. You will be able to keep control of complex problems and focus on the key issues. Besides, you will be able to work both independently and together with your colleagues and other partners.
