Description

Would you like to join our multi-disciplinary team developing and constructing the future offshore platforms for our offshore wind projects in Northern Europe?

Join us and become our new Project Manager in the department Offshore Platforms, which is part of Renewables, a large and rapidly growing business unit with 950 employees.

We are one of the leading energy companies in Europe within the fields of developing, constructing and operating onshore and offshore wind farms. We have more than 30 years of experience in wind power, and up to 20 per cent of our power is produced from renewable resources. Our business is based on producing, distributing and trading energy and related products in Northern Europe. We are also one of the leading developers of offshore wind in the United Kingdom.

At present, we require experienced and committed project managers to head the development and construction of our future projects comprising a variety of fixed, semi-submersible and self-installing offshore platforms.

You will be based either at our office in Gentofte or in Skærbæk near Fredericia. You may choose freely between the two locations. You should expect a number of travels in Denmark and Northern Europe.

Areas of responsibility
As Project Manager you will be responsible for all matters pertaining to development and construction of our projects.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

  • start up the project, lay down overall project requirements and manage time, budget, scope, vendors, deliveries, quality, tenders, contracts, claims, interfaces, HSE, resources, risks and stakeholders
  • ensure resources in cooperation with line organisation and team performance of project subgroups responsible for design, fabrication, installation and offshore hook-up and commissioning
  • ensure technical documentation of design, fabrication, installation and commissioning, safety philosophy, inspection plan, decommissioning and abandonment plan and operation and maintenance manual
  • close down the project, finalise CAPEX account and handover the assets to operations.

Your profile
You will hold an MSc Degree in Engineering within structural or offshore engineering.

You will have extensive experience in project management of multi-disciplinary projects, preferably within offshore wind or the oil and gas industry, mainly with focus on managing external engineering consultants and external fabrication contractors.

You will thrive in an international environment. Our projects bring together various employee groups, nationalities, cultures and authorities, and it is essential that you have excellent communication skills and speak and write English fluently.

It is essential that you have a result-oriented approach to your work. Furthermore, you will have team spirit and be able to create excellent results through teamwork. You will thrive on working both independently and together with your colleagues and business partners.

We offer
A unique and challenging job in a value-based organisation focusing on decision-making processes. We offer substantial freedom with responsibility. Through your work, you will participate in the implementation of an ambitious strategy for international growth and further development of sustainable CO2-free energy solutions.

Our offshore wind projects comprise multiple disciplines and are far from being any standard project. You will have excellent opportunities to have an influence on your daily work, develop new competences and pursue a career in a large international organisation. You will be joining a dynamic team with competent colleagues who value knowledge sharing and initiatives.

You will have a competitive salary and an informal and attractive working environment. We have an active employee policy, which supports your career throughout the various phases of your working life.
