Salary: £19-23,000 pro rata (London based)

Froglife is a national wildlife conservation organisation with a specific focus
on the protection of amphibians and reptiles, and their habitats.

Froglife has secured a development grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund
to develop a London wide project. Dragon Finder will operate in all 33 London boroughs and will
carry out a wide range of activities that will encourage individuals to become involved in
amphibian and reptile conservation.

The Project Development Officer will be responsible for developing the project for years 1-3 and
for putting together an indicative plan for years 4-5.
The post holder will need to develop a detailed activity plan identifying specific activities,
venues, timings, audiences, volunteers and other support requirements. This will require
someone who is confident in developing partnerships, securing partnership agreements and
gathering wide ranging support.

As the development phase must be completed within 9 months the post holder will be someone
who can hit the ground running and can operate independently with excellent networking and
communication skills.

Applicants must have at least 3 years previous work experience in a relevant field and
preferably within the conservation charitable sector. It is preferable that applicants have
previous experience of delivering projects within London and have a sound knowledge of
London and London related issues.
