Project Co-ordinator (hands on)

£20k+ dependent on experience 

Nimrod Environmental are expanding and we require an individual at a supervisory level to manage our site team and co-ordinate our UK wide projects to ensure they run at optimum levels. 

We are looking for a hands on person who is self-motivated, dedicated, committed, positive and forward thinking.  A problem solver who can anticipate project needs and liaise effectively and professionally with a range of key stakeholders from clients and contractors to site personnel and the public. 

Essential job requirements include:

• Experience of managing a team. Hands on approach to projects on site, willing to undertake and have solid experience in on-site manual labour and supervisory tasks as part of the team.
• Liaising with head office in relation to:

-    project planning

-    purchasing materials and equipment

-    sourcing labour

• Control of the yard, vehicles and the stores ensuring organisation and administration requirements of plant and equipment
• Full Drivers licence 

Desired key attributes (but not essential) include:

• Railway experience/PTS
• B&E Trailer Licence
• CSCS/ Chainsaw/ Use of chainsaw from rope and harness/ 360 excavator 

This role would suit an individual who has previous supervisory experience or someone who wants to step up a level, show enthusiasm and work for a great company.  This role may involve an element of working/staying away and night works as our projects require.
