The Urban Orchard Project is a pioneering charity, dedicated to creating skilled communities that plant, care for and harvest fruit trees, whilst connecting urban communities and increasing access to fruit.

We are recruting for a Project Administrator and Communications Officer based in London to support the organisation in delivering a community orchard programme throughout the UK.

Project Administrator and Communications Officer

£23,000 pro rata plus 5% employer pension

Part time: 3 days/ week

2 year initial contract subject to continuation of funding

The Project Administrator and Communications Officer will contribute to the smooth running of the London office, and to some extent the national offices, by offering administrative and some financial support. They will be responsible for the wider communications of the organisation and will ensure that the project is well represented through a variety of communication channels including social media.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent knowledge and experience of charity administration and communications. You will have an eye for detail and a creative approach and will be passionate about communicating the magic of orchards!
