Description

Would you like be part of a highly skilled team working with sustainable energy in a large international organisation?

Join us and become our Project Model Compliance Manager in our department Project Development, which is part of Renewables, a large and rapidly growing business unit with 725 employees.

We are one of the leading companies in Europe within the fields of developing, constructing and operating onshore and offshore wind farms. We have more than 30 years of experience in wind power, and up to 20 per cent of our power is produced from renewable resources. We are also one of the leading developers of offshore wind projects in the United Kingdom.

You will be joining a newly established support function, Strategy and Performance, with eight committed colleagues with various skills and educational backgrounds. We focus on improving and optimising the development of wind farm projects. You will participate in our work on generating steady-flow project opportunities and developing projects towards final investment decisions.

You will be based at our office in Gentofte near Copenhagen.

Areas of responsibility

You will report to the head of Strategy and Performance. Your primary focus will be to implement our stage-gate project model by developing and facilitating the gate approval process. Additionally, you will participate in management reporting of our project pipeline.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

  • implement a project gate governance structure
  • facilitate gate review processes and gate meetings, including reporting of gate decisions to Renewables' management team
  • train project managers and steering groups according to governance structure
  • take part in various analytical tasks with focus on ensuring a coherent, flexible and robust portfolio of wind projects in cooperation with our wind pipeline manager
  • improve the gate approval process continuously and align documentation quality across the project portfolio.

Your profile

You will hold a relevant educational degree, for example in Engineering or Economics combined with good business and technical understanding.

You will have experience with process facilitation and project management. Ideally, you will have experience with bringing business models from idea to implementation.

As we are an international company and work closely together with our colleagues abroad, it will be essential that you speak and write both Danish and English fluently and have good communication skills.

You will have an outgoing personality and a persistent approach to your work. You will be able to structure complex processes and be a dynamic professional capable of finding both constructive and practical solutions to your tasks. Additionally, you will be a team player who enjoys creating the foundation of effective decision-making processes.

We offer

You will have unique opportunities to further develop your personal skills and competencies in an informal working environment where you can cooperate and spar with experienced and skilled colleagues in a large international organisation. Through your work, you will underpin the implementation of an ambitious strategy for international growth and further development of sustainable and CO2-free energy solutions.

You will enjoy flexible working hours and have good possibilities for further training and education. You will have a competitive salary as well as an informal and attractive working environment. We have an active employee policy, which supports your career throughout the various phases of your working life.

We have a flexible approach, and our culture is felt by our employees' overwhelming desire to deliver great results and to push the boundaries. You will be able to have an influence on where the company is going if you are outspoken, creative and thrive on challenges. In return, you will experience great colleagues, lots of social activities, new initiatives and build your professional competencies on a daily basis.
