Job title: Principal Landscape Architect

Location: Bristol

Rate: £38000 – 40000 DOE

Job Summary:

Our multi-disciplinary client is looking to appoint a Principal Landscape Architect into their Bristol Landscape Team.  This is a key appointment and the selected individual will have the opportunity to manage the local team and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the business.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ranging from preparation of planning submission to complex and varied LVIA’s.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:


As the Principal consultant you will;

  • Lead on all technical input and provide landscape architecture technical guidance to others across the business;
  • Develop strong relationships with existing external and internal clients;
  • Acts as a mentor and set a positive example to junior staff;
  • Manage projects, resources and be responsible for the successful delivery of projects.


Qualifications / Experience:


Experience of both landscape planning and design are key in order to be successful in this role. A track record of working within a multidisciplinary team is also essential as is the ability to project manage a number of projects simultaneously and communicate effective across a variety of disciplines.

Candidates must be experienced in landscape visual impact assessment, have good knowledge of the planning system and EIA process and have a proven track record of leading a team.
