Job Purpose
You will provide comprehensive cost & energy reduction solutions to large blue chip enterprises, specifically focusing on the manufacturing and process industry.
Key Accountabilities
- Delivering a proven methodical approach to operational cost & energy reduction utilising our engineering consultants and product portfolio.
- Core areas of focus will be delivering sustained energy savings across a wide spectrum of industrial facilities and general manufacturing organisations.
- Making savings implementation covering energy efficiency, capital projects and low carbon technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage team of highly skilled consultants across the UK.
- Continuously developing our methodology and supporting technical skills covering Refrigeration, Compressed Air, CHP, Motors & Drives, Lighting, Industrial Boilers & Steam Systems, Metering and Data Collection.
- Completing scoping audits and implementing cost reduction programs within manufacturing clients.
- Develop innovative solutions aligned with manufacturing sector drivers and business requirements.
Person Specification
- Engineering degree.
- Mechanical Engineer with extensive management, manufacturing and operations experience.
- Experience of operating in an Engineering Management role with solid hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to plan & prioritise heavy and diverse workloads to self and others, also demonstrating sound problem solving abilities, organisation skills and keen attention to detail.
- Have been responsible for delivering energy efficiency projects.
- Be an excellent communicator - both written and verbal - at all levels, demonstrating the ability to influence and negotiate where necessary.
- Ability to communicate complex solutions to a non technical audience.
- Experienced in understanding a variety of manufacturing processes.
