Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal level acoustic consultant to join an innovative and expanding environmental, planning and management consultancy. Joining a multidisciplinary team of environmental professionals, this role offers the selected candidate an opportunity to play a key role in securing the business’s ambitious growth programme.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Our client is currently involved in some of the most prestigious and complex development projects in the UK including HS2 and Crossrail. As a principal team member, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wealth of acoustic services ranging from statutory nuisance and construction to expert witness.

As a Principal Consultant you will;

• Make a significant contribution to the overall running and effective management of the company
• Lead and project mange small to medium size contracts, supporting the senior team on large projects
• Provide technical leadership and advice to colleagues across the rest of the business.

Qualifications / Experience:

• First Degree or Diploma in Acoustics
• Full IOA membership
• Demonstrable experience of good commercial acumen and a proven track record of forming strong relationships with clients.

The selected candidate will have a track record in supporting the delivery of challenging and complex commissions within tight timescales. Candidates should also have experience within a professional consultancy environment, with broad sector experience to include residential, commercial, transport (road and rail) and construction.
