PR Executive

We are looking for a talented individual to join our small, highly dynamic public relations consultancy based just outside Oxford. This is an exciting prospect for someone who may already have some experience of working in PR or communications, or a recent graduate with the right potential and aptitude for the role. 

As an agency we specialise in the environment and wildlife conservation, as well as science, museums and heritage.  This post offers an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-moving, but friendly and supportive working environment with plenty of variety and challenges.  

Ideally educated to degree level and with 12 months experience in-house or in an agency environment, you will have excellent communication skills, possess excellent news judgement and have knowledge of how the media work.

You will be a key part of the team, drafting press releases and copy, responding to media enquiries, producing online and social media content, monitoring coverage via news alerts and cutting services, meeting clients, and attending events and functions which we run on behalf of our clients.  

The PR environment is complex and demanding and you will need to be flexible, highly organised, enthusiastic and a creative thinker who stays calm working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
