MCS raises awareness of the problems
through the publication of information, involves people in active environmental projects and campaigns and influences the government and industry
bodies to introduce effective measures that will reduce pollution at source. The Good Beach Guide and Beachwatch projects are the public face of the campaigns and play a key role in promoting solutions to the problems.
You will be instrumental in building relationships with our audiences and stakeholders in order to promote our objectives for clean seas and beaches,
acting as key point of contact for MCS's pollution campaigns. Supported by your committed and passionate team, you will provide them with specialist knowledge and management support, developing their skills
and capabilities to ensure our Pollution Programmes continue to create an impact. Key Skills . Have knowledge of the key policy frameworks and stakeholders relating to marine pollution in UK waters . Excellent project management skills to deliver on time and within budgets, maintaining a high professional standard of work . MSc (or equivalent knowledge) in an environmental field with specialist knowledge of marine pollution . Approachable management style with demonstrable experience in motivating and developing the potential of the team .
