Phase One habitat survey is an essential tool for the nature conservationist and ecologist. This one day course is aimed at professionals who have to carry out Phase One surveys in relation to development, planning, countryside management, mitigation and conservation. A highly experienced tutor will provide a comprehensive introduction to Phase One, and introduce other habitat survey techniques. A morning of instruction in the classroom will be followed by an afternoon in the field putting theory into practice.
The course will take place at a venue near Stroud, in Gloucestershire on July 11th and again on August 1st, 2011. The cost is £165 per person or £178 including the latest reprint of the JNCC Handbook for Phase One Habitat Survey. Fee includes buffet lunch, course notes and resource CD. A 10% discount is available if you book this course together with our Identification of Common Grassland Plants course (which runs on July 12th at the same venue).
