Objective: Expand broad community support for Great River Greening by assisting Greening's Development Director, Communications Manager, and other staff with a broad array of daily work and projects.
An interest and/or experience in conservation.
The desire to work in a small, informal office setting and occasionally at libraries.
The flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of assignments, including outside work at least once a week.
Assist in managing social media and new website.
Research foundation and event sponsors.
Assist with updating volunteer and donor database.
Opportunities to assist with copy-writing and other content creation.
Assist with maintenance for gardens and other sites.
Reports to: Deborah Karasov, Executive Director, and other staff. Hours: PT or FT, minimum 20 hrs/wk for summer only. $11/hr without benefits. Must have access to car.
