Outreach Officer (Mumbai)

Purpose of the outreach unit

Greenpeace solely relies on the voluntary donations of individual supporters; we do not accept funds from governments, corporations or political parties to ensure that we do not compromise our independence, objectives or integrity while we take environmental wrong-doers to task.

The Outreach Program is a new initiative within our fundraising unit to generate fundraising opportunities amongst large groups of people at venues such as corporate offices, malls, airports, events, exhibitions and the like on a national basis. You will join our outreach team in Mumbai.

Purpose of the role

To assist, coordinate and design outreach/events activity in venue's of captive audience like corporate offices, malls, airports, events, exhibitions, etc on a national basis.

To facilitate in enrolling supporters/raising funds using creative marketing/outreach strategy at the venues.

What will you be doing

To tap the market of Mumbai by conducting awareness programmes in various venues in Mumbai.

To achieve agreed upon targets for supporter enrolment using outreach programme.

To increase the revenue/supporter enrolment from the existing venues.

To ensure efficiency and professionalism in the outreach activity

To facilitate in feedback on the training requirement of outreach officers in the branch offices.

To be in constant touch with the outreach officers in the branch offices by phone/mail interaction.

To facilitate in implementation of process/norms of outreach activity developed in HO in all the branch offices

Ensure all administrative and statutory norms are followed during our outreach activity.

To ensure that all information, materials, infrastructure and support as may be required is made available to the various branches

What you need for this position

1-2 years experience working on corporate sales in Mumbai.

Experience in developing and implementing a marketing strategy

Proven track record in sales

Good communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiating and networking skills

Experience of and preference for working in a team.

COMPENSATION: Starting pay Rs.14400 per month + Allowances + Incentives
