Online marketing & Journalist Intern – Moves between Projects in Malaysia
Role
As the Online Marketing and Journalist Intern you will be incharge of developing the Ecoteer online brand through social media, User generated content and articles and interviews you write. You will stay at our various projects in Malaysia and interview various volunteers, villagers, staff and just about anyone! When representing Ecoteer Responsible Travel you should display a professional attitude whilst remaining open and accessible to all clients whom we work with. The target is to make the Ecoteer sites as the go to sites for Voluntourism, Ecotourism and conservation related issues in SE Asia.
Description of ideal candidate
A passionate, friendly and social person who has experience of Online Marketing and who loves to write. They would have a passion not just for journalism but also for the environment and will want to make a difference to the local communities in Malaysia. They would have experience of creative journalism using various media (written, visual, audio) and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. They would have an excellent command of spoken and written English and willing to live and move around Malaysia visiting various projects. They would be a happy, people person and someone that can easily approach other people.
