Description

An individual with drive is required to join a team engaged in developing and delivering new business to meet the needs of the offshore Oil and Gas industry.  For this post, you will possess a solid understanding of the offshore O&G industry, with prior experience of business development and project managing environmental projects for industry.  You will be able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team of marine scientists, project managers and business developers.   

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
Cefas’ vast marine expertise is in increasing demand from the offshore O&G sector.  Our marine services range from discrete technical and scientific disciplines such as underwater acoustics, ecotoxicology, and spill dispersion modelling, to delivery of solutions for facility decommissioning, impact assessments and oil spill emergency response.
 Cefas is seeking a highly motivated team player exhibiting: 
·         an entrepreneurial, ‘Can Do’ attitude complemented by the necessary experience and flare to create and close complex project sales; 
·         a strong commercial and technical background; 
·         experience within the offshore O&G sector; and 
·         strong project management experience in offshore O&G project development, environmental studies and consenting processes. 

Based in our Lowestoft Laboratory 45 minutes from Norwich and reporting to the Divisional Director Environment & Ecosystems, your role will be to lead the development of new and existing Cefas business in the O&G sector.  You will also be required to manage key customer and stakeholder interfaces.  
The ability to travel is essential.
