Description

Would you like to join a multi-disciplinary team developing tomorrow's winning concepts for O&M of offshore wind power plants?

Join us and become our new Offshore Specialist in the department O&M Concepts. We focus on the entire value chain in relation to wind power plants: from the initial concept development, through project planning, engineering and construction to operation and service of our wind power plants.

At present, we are strengthening our efforts to maintain our position as the world’s leading operator of offshore wind energy. We are therefore seeking a talented and experienced offshore specialist to help us optimise the development of O&M concepts, among other things through specification of concepts and interfaces where offshore logistics are vital competences in reaching our goal.

The department is part of Wind Power, a large and rapidly growing business unit with 1200 employees. You will participate in the implementation of our O&M concept strategy in connection with the overall strategy for Wind Power for both the existing assets and future wind power plants as offshore wind energy goes further offshore in deeper and rougher waters.

You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.

Areas of responsibility
You will be joining a project core team scoping and executing the development of O&M solutions in projects. Your primary tasks will include supporting our project teams with offshore knowledge, specifications of all relevant requirements and development of offshore O&M concepts.

Additionally, you will manage and participate in technical project reviews, tests and implementation of new concepts.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

  • facilitate interface dialogues and meetings
  • perform HSE and process risk assessments as well as create technical risk assessments
  • secure quality and compliance with legal requirements for technical documentation
  • coordinate deliverables regarding technical and design documentation
  • participate in specialist forums.

Your profile
You may have a Master's Degree in Offshore Engineering or another educational background supplemented by solid and well-documented technical offshore or marine experience.

As a minimum, you will have three to five years of offshore experience within the fields of transport, marine vessel construction, offshore accommodation or another offshore focus area relevant to O&M concepts.

It will be advantageous if you are able to draw on experience with and knowledge of offshore accommodation platforms, eg from the oil and gas industry. In addition, you may have project experience combined with knowledge of project methods and legal matters, eg directives, norms and standards; however this is not a prerequisite.

You will speak and write English fluently and communicate well with your colleagues in other departments and technical areas.

It is essential that you have both an extrovert personality and team spirit enabling you to cooperate efficiently with your colleagues and business partners.

Additionally, you will have a result-oriented approach to your work and be focused on reaching results and milestones, eg in relation to project activities. You will be able to prioritise your tasks with excellence in an often hectic atmosphere.

We offer
You will be part of a dynamic team with a lot of space for development and career opportunities in an international organisation

We work hard, and our culture is felt by our employees' overwhelming desire to deliver great results and to push the boundaries. You will be able to have influence on where the company is going if you are outspoken, creative, thrive on challenges and do not quit easily. In return, you will experience great colleagues, a lot of social activities, new initiatives and build your professional competences on a daily basis.

Through your work, you will participate in the implementation of an ambitious strategy for international growth and further development of sustainable CO2-free energy solutions.

You will have substantial freedom with responsibility, a competitive salary and an informal and attractive working environment. We offer an active employee policy, which supports your career throughout the various phases of your working life.
