Offshore Export Cable Manager

Areas of responsibility

As Offshore Export Cable Manager you will be responsible for the offshore export cables and connection equipment. 

Furthermore, your key duties will include:

• ensure that the project is on time and that deliveries and quality are within the scope
• comply with DONG Energy’s guidelines and standards and enforce S requirements as well as local requirements
• participate in project team meetings and cross discipline cooperation
• ensure that the technical departments’ best practices are implemented.

Your profile

It is expected that you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have sufficient experience in a similar role.

It is essential that you will have practical as well as theoretical experience within high voltage (HV) export cables and components.  You will preferably have offshore and intertidal experience as well as commissioning experience.  

It is essential that you will have excellent technical and communication skills and demonstrate the ability to be a good team player and a competent decision maker.  Furthermore, you will demonstrate excellent adaptability and planning skills.

As this is a project based role it is essential that you are willing to be based in London and travel extensively to our project sites in the UK and elsewhere in Northern Europe particularly Denmark and Germany

You will be fluent in English.  Additional language skills such as being fluent in French, German or Danish is advantageous.
