Description

Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), Canada’s most trusted and respected wetland conservation organization, is looking for a National Manager Interactive and Online to join our team. Please apply by July 4, 2011.

Your mission will be to create a web strategy in support of DUC’s national communications and marketing strategy, which complements the company’s strategic direction. You are a multitasker with a strong understanding of web-based technologies and platforms which will be used to maximize DUC’s digital and online presence.

At Ducks, we’re going places. You need to be an enthusiastic team player – a self-starter who can work cross-functionally, is capable of taking calculated risks and enjoys thinking out of the box.

Your eight years of experience make you the ideal candidate for this position, which is located at Oak Hammock Marsh near Stonewall, Man. In addition to being very creative, you have a positive winning approach and the ability to manage high stress situations and tight deadlines. Your emotional intelligence and ability to see the bigger picture will make you a great asset to our team.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability in the technical administration, development and maintenance of online tools.
  • Experience in content-writing, web analytics, search engine optimization and social media marketing.
  • Proven talent in maximizing website experiences for end users.
  • Ability to manage a department budget.
  • Excellent communication, editing and grammar skills.
  • Expert knowledge of HTML, Adobe and AJAX required.
  • Familiarity with digital photography an asset.
