Description

18/07/14 - 21/07/14

The stunning scenery and habitats of Snowdonia, extend from mountain top to sea level, with insects found throughout. This course is about discovering these popular insect groups of dragonflies, butterflies and moths of the area. This course aims to complement and contrast other FSC courses which focus on lowland habitats. It will be of interest to both absolute beginners and more advanced enthusiasts/ professionals, keen to experience and survey in new, often upland, areas and habitats.

For keen amateurs and professional surveyors, the emphasis on surveying for dragonflies and trapping moths at high altitudes will be particularly appealing.
