Bankwatch is looking for a MENA Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated person to help support our campaign and policy work in the Southern Mediterranean region.

Candidates should possess the following attributes:

• Strong organisational skills and proven ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent command of English and Arabic or French, both oral and written
• Knowledge of political, economical and social situation in the MENA
• Experience from civil society organisations campaigns
• Experience of working on EU and international financial institutions (IFIs) would be an advantage.

The MENA Project coordinator’s job will consist of:

• Coordination of activities of project partners
• Monitoring of EBRD Projects in the region
• Preparations of publications, organising of events and fact finding missions
• Media work - in particular with UK/EU based media
• Advocacy work on EBRD policies and projects
• Identification of new campaign opportunities
• Support of Bankwatch EBRD team activities and keeping in contact with other NGOs interested in IFIs activities in MENA
