This is an exciting opportunity to assist in the administration and promotion of membership for London Wildlife Trust, and to undertake research and support tasks on behalf of the Fundraising and Marketing Team. As Membership Intern, you will gain valuable experience in a working office environment, as well as insight into the way a wildlife charity operates. In addition to this you will develop transferable skills and have the opportunity to run your own independent projects, as well as having the chance to help shape the membership approach of the Trust.

 

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, be able to accurately input data, and be familiar with electronic filing systems. Good communication skills are essential, as is an ability to build strong working relationships with staff. You will be highly organised and able to prioritise your workload, and be able to confidently represent the charity at events.

 

London Wildlife Trust manages over forty nature reserve sites across the capital that are exemplars of urban conservation land management and which engage the local communities that use the sites. The Trust delivers projects focusing on protecting priority habitats and species in London and works to influence policy makers. The Trust engages London’s diverse communities through access to our nature reserves, volunteering programmes and education and outreach work.
