The social networking intern will work with social networking media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flicker and YouTube to bring greater awareness of Great River Greening to people using these media. Interns in this position will have similar goals as those in the marketing and community outreach positions but they will reach their goals via social networking instead of more traditional methods. Past projects have included establishing Great River Greening on Twitter, engaging youth participating in the Million Acorn Challenge through Facebook, and developing a professional network via LinkedIn
