Marketing and Communications Assistant

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain valuable PR and Marketing experience with a young and energetic charity operating in the environmental sustainability and carbon reduction space.

We are a small but highly motivated team and are passionate about what we do and the superb projects that we support.

Under the guidance of the Marketing and Communications Manager, this is a supporting role in which a high level of writing and communication skills is required.

Key roles & responsibilities:

• Draft and distribute press releases, news stories, case studies and features
• Assist in implementing the PR and Marketing Plan for 2012
• Monitor and update social media channels
• Draft updates on our projects for our website
• Identify marketing opportunities, for instance at trade shows/ award entries, to increase our presence

Would suit someone with a PR and Marketing background who has:

• Has excellent writing and communications skills
• Some Website maintenance experience
• Some experience in Social Media
• Organised
• Can work alone and as part of a team
• Ability to deliver high quality work
