Marine Discovery Manager

We are seeking a Manager to oversee all aspects of the Marine Discovery Centre (MDC) and its research programs, starting 10 June 2014

The role involves :

• Management and responsibility for MDC staff and operations;
• Supervision & support of all programmes: coral frame propagation, fish breeding, turtle rehabilitation;
• Regular high level meetings with Four Seasons management;
• Regular written reports (in English)of MDC activities and targets;
• Management of guest activities and public-relations;

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in marine conservation and research, ideally gained in a tropical country;
• Knowledge and experience of marine aquaria and sea turtle rehabilitation;
• Experience of project management and staff supervision;
• Academic qualifications in a relevant discipline (Marine Biology, Environmental Science …);
• MSc / PhD preferred.
