Description

19th - 21st August residential course

This well established course teaches you how to identify all of Britain's land mammals - from sightings and field signs (including calls, droppings, feeding remains and footprints). Led by enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors, the course offers lectures, slide shows and evening activities, as well as hands-on experience doing owl pellet analysis and Longworth live-trapping for small mammals. You are invited to take a short assessment at the end of the course which, if passed, will earn you a Certificate in Basic Mammal Identification, accredited by The Mammal Society and the FSC.
