Job Summary:

One of the UKs leading environmental consultancies is looking for a Landscape Visualisation specialist to join a team of experienced digital designers and GIS professionals. You will work from the London office offering visualisation support to planning and ecology colleagues across 4 UK offices, to deliver work across a variety of sectors including; renewables, transport, infrastructure and public realm.

In this post, you will have the opportunity to get involved in all stages of project development; from tender stage right through to completion. For more senior applicants, your brief will include offering assistance with the generation of new business and liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. 

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

The successful Landscape Visualisation Specialist will;

• Create photomontages for LVIAs; The breadth of client base means you will work on both rural and urban projects including onshore & offshore Wind Farm Developments, Grid Connections, Transport proposals, Infrastructure developments, Public realm and architectural briefs.
• Produce photographic Montages for landscape and Climate Change Visualisation.
• Assist the Landscape Design team in creating visualisations for a range of project deliverables including detailed schemes and proposals for public consultation events.

Qualifications / Experience:

The successful Landscape Visualisation Specialist will have:

• A Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrable experience of applying skills in a landscape, architectural or urban design setting is essential in order to undertake this role successfully.
• A good working knowledge of relevant 3D visualisation software (such as AutoCAD 2D/3D, Autodesk 3DS max, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop).
• Confidence in working with a variety of data formats and the ability to learn and use new technologies and software.
• A full Driving Licence

Addition desirable skills include;

• Proven ability to provide tender input
• Familiarity with Resoft Windfarm and Topos
• Experience of using Augmented Reality apps
• Basic knowledge of GIS and /or photography skills (training will be provided)
