Job Summary:

 An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Landscape Architect to join an expanding team at a well-established planning consultancy. You will get the opportunity to work across a range of sectors including mixed use, residential and renewables. You will be reporting to the Director of the Gloucestershire office and will get the chance to mentor and support junior team members.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

As a Landscape consultant you will;

  • Undertake LVIA’s for project work within mixed use, residential and renewables sectors
  • Undertake landscape and townscape characterisations, including tall buildings
  • Play a key role in mentoring junior staff members
  • Undertake business development duties on behalf of the company

Qualifications / Experience:

To be a successful Landscape Consultant you will have;

  • A relevant degree
  • Membership to Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) and on the pathway to Chartership
  • Strong consultancy experience including project management
  • Excellent report writing ability
  • Good knowledge of the planning system and familiarity with the appraisal and assessment process and relevant published guidance
  • Good understanding of CAD, GIS and Adobe Design Suite
  • Experience of preparing work for public enquiry would be advantageous.
