Job Summary:

A highly regarded and award-winning environmental consultancy is seeking a Landscape Consultant with experience of undertaking LVIA, to assist with the delivery of landscape based projects.  You will have the opportunity to work with clients across both the public and private sectors, advising on appropriate landscape design and mitigation measures throughout the planning process.

The candidate will be joining a growing landscape team, working closely with EIA Co-ordinators and a variety of multi-disciplinary colleagues to deliver high quality outputs.

 

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

The successful landscape consultant will undertake landscape character assessments and visual impact assessments relating to a variety of projects including residential, power and master planning.  You will work with a variety of clients to assess landscape and visual impacts to deal effectively with any constraints to ensure they are visually acceptable.

 

Qualifications / Experience:

The successful Landscape Consultant will have;

  • A Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience of undertaking desk studies, research, data analysis and report writing
  • A track record of undertaking LVIA
  • Proficiency in GIS/AutoCad
  • Experience of providing input to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and planning applications
  • An interest in the rural environment and green infrastructure
  • Experience of liaising with internal and external deliverers, third parties and clients
  • A full driving licence
