Landscape Architect

Groundwork London’s Landscape team works with people to improve outdoor spaces across the capital by creating or improving community gardens, parks, play areas and natural spaces. Our focus is on creating spaces that are well designed, bio-diverse and relevant to the needs of local people.

We are seeking a Chartered Landscape Architect or an experienced Associate Landscape Architect working towards CMLI accreditation to join our Landscape Design team to manage the design and implementation of a range of landscape improvement projects. You will have the ability to prepare sketch designs, plans and master-plans for presentation to clients and for consultation using software applications to a high standard including AutoCAD 2010, Adobe CS4 and SketchUP.

The ideal candidate will have experience in community and environmental based schemes and take ownership of multiple projects from conception to completion, including contract administration and cost estimation. You will be experienced in successfully managing budgets and writing fee proposals. A talented communicator and negotiator, you will be responsible for liaising with clients and communities, giving presentations and writing reports.
