Bright & Associates is an innovative Practice of landscape architects. The Practice undertakes landscape and visual impact assessments and design work relating to the minerals and waste disposal industry as well as renewable energy projects.

A vacancy has arisen for a Landscape Architect. The successful candidate will assist in undertaking assessment and design work in terms of plan based data as well as landscape research and desk study reviews. Where appropriate they will be expected to manage projects and liaise with Clients. We are looking to appoint the ‘right person’ who is able to fit in and enjoy working in Shropshire. To achieve this, we remain flexible as to the amount of previous experience, and will pay a commensurate salary. We are looking to appoint a candidate who must be able to demonstrate an ability to work unsupervised. We are also prepared to offer training (if necessary).

The successful candidate must have experience in using Autocad. They will also have an ability to provide written material with accurate detail. Knowledge of planning application procedures and EIA processes would be an advantage, together with experience in map based data retrieval relevant to landscape character assessment.
