Job Summary Our client is a successful international investment management group looking to hire a junior analyst to support the Head of the Property Investment team. This represents a really exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in sustainability and how this can be applied in financial services specifically within the property sector. The role demands a broad range of skills and sustainability knowledge, and specifically, processing and manipulation of data. To be considered for the post you need to have a strong academic qualifications including, a relevant degree and/or post-graduate qualification in sustainability, engineering or environmental fields. You will need to demonstrate: • A methodical and rigorous approach to information-gathering and qualitative analysis; • Excellent computer and data processing skills • Attention to detail and accuracy in written, visual and numeric work; • Strong written and oral communication skills • An interest in sustainable development Responsibilities Assist with the collection, analysis and reporting of sustainability property data, including liaison with external managing agents and building managers. Provide support with the compliance of the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme, including: Data collection from external sources, including managing agents, energy suppliers and energy management platforms Undertake appropriate processing, analysis and submission of energy data in a regulatory compliant format, Facilitate and administrate the purchasing of carbon allowances through the Regulatory online portal Work with the Head of RPI to develop and manage a regulatory compliant evidence pack, including the administration and filing of submissions, audit reports and annual reports To work closely with the Head of RPI, external consultants and managing agents in the implementation, roll out and administration of energy management programmes to support the compliance with the EU Energy Efficiency Directive and UK Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme. Capture and monitor the implementation of our green lease clauses, via data entry and review of lease schedules. Support the preparation of content for reporting to investors, including annual reporting in line with sustainability reporting recommendations Act as an additional point of contact for both internal and external enquiries regarding sustainability, within the UK and across other offices This role offers the opportunity to be part of company that delivers superior, consistent fund performance across a diverse range of asset management businesses with a real emphasis on sustainability.
