A day course aimed at the keen beginner and improver, this course provides an introduction the commoner sedges. Emphasis will be placed on use of key characters to distinguish similar looking plants. By the end of the course participants will be able to recognise the commoner sedges and have improved skills to enable keying out of those they do not recognise. The only requirement for this course is an enthusiasm for plants.
