This courses enables participants to familiarise themselves with the basic techniques of dry stone walling and to build ability and confidence in dry stone walling skills.
The course will cover the basic skills of dry stone walling, the tools and equipment needed and how to use them. It will also help participants to help estimate quantities and cost of a dry stone wall project and to have the ability to tackle a straightforward dry stone walling task.
Recent graduates (within the last three years), undergraduates or those not currently in full time employment can recieve a £50 reduction off the advertised course fee for this course. Please contact the Centre for more details.
