Description

Tasks and Responsibilities

Research and compile background information on marine conservation and ocean

governance issues

Organize a meeting for high-level decision-makers in the Pacific

Draft and format conference documents and background papers

Support the maintenance of a network of likeminded decision-makers

Report to the Director of the EU Liaison Office

Profile

University degree

Basic knowledge of international marine conservation policies and ocean governance

Fully professional capability in English

Good organisation and communication skills

High degree of proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel

Capability of working independently in a fast-paced small office environment

Be reliable and capable of paying close attention to detail

Willing to travel

Committed to the WFC’s vision and mission

Conditions

The internship is unpaid but support for living costs will be provided. Candidates should

have EU citizenship or a relevant visa for the time of the internship.
