Tasks and Responsibilities • Research and compile background information on marine conservation and oceangovernance issues • Organize a meeting for high-level decision-makers in the Pacific • Draft and format conference documents and background papers • Support the maintenance of a network of likeminded decision-makers • Report to the Director of the EU Liaison OfficeProfile • University degree • Basic knowledge of international marine conservation policies and ocean governance • Fully professional capability in English • Good organisation and communication skills • High degree of proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel • Capability of working independently in a fast-paced small office environment • Be reliable and capable of paying close attention to detail • Willing to travel • Committed to the WFC’s vision and missionConditions The internship is unpaid but support for living costs will be provided. Candidates should have EU citizenship or a relevant visa for the time of the internship.
