Reports To: 
Director - Wildlife Crime
Job Location: 
Washington, DC - Dupont Cirle
Purpose: 

The intern will be responsible for a variety of assignments in the Wildlife Crime and Consumer Awareness Program.

Responsibilities: 

Administrative and logistical support

Research projects

Drafting letters and fact sheets

Assist with coordination of wildlife crime and consumer awareness campaigns and projects

Requirements: 

Ideal candidates should have an interest in wildlife policy and animal protection (though prior experience is not necessary), and a willingness to learn about how they can make a difference for animals through education, outreach and policy.  This is an excellent opportunity for any student interested in animal protection, though no specific academic major is required of applicants.

Application Details: 

Intern position is for June 2013 through June 2014.  The position is paid and the schedule may be flexible.
