19th -22nd August residential course

The Asteraceae are largest flower family in the world and the yellow ones are particularly difficult to separate. Using a range of lateral and dichotomous keys, John helps students to sort our their hawksbeards from their cats ears and gain confidence on identification of what were traditionally known as the yellow composites.This course provides an opportunity to learn more about the species in this major plant family and improve your identification skills.
